Organizing Troubles?

Of course, everyone has their own ideas about organizing their coupons.

It can be very difficult to decide. The small purse, a folder, a wallet. . .

Personally, I recommend a binder, or an envelope. I don't like carrying my binder around in stores with me, so I use an envelope, but I always bring the binder in the car just in case. You never know, there could be an amazing one time deal at the store, and your coupon is at home.

Anyway, if you are using a binder to organize your coupons you will need the following. Everything can be found at Walmart, or even Staples.

  • Binder (Large)
  • Baseball Card Sheets
  • Scissors
  • Highlighters
  • Pens
  • Stapler
  • Markers
Of course, there are many other things you can add to your binder. These are just a couple. If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me, or even post a comment. Thank-you.

Finding Coupons (Part 3) ~ Shelf Scanning

Okay, so... There is another "Finding Coupons" method I'm sure almost everyone does.

Shelf Scanning!

All you have to do is walk through your favourite grocery store, and skim the aisles for coupons! It's that easy.

Sometimes stores have great coupons on tear-pads for their customers. Once I found a tear-pad full of $1 Vim Coupons, and SDM (Shoppers Drug Mart) had a sale on for Vim $.99! I ended up getting 35 bottles for free!

You never know where you might find a great coupon! So, keep an eye out.

Finding Coupons (Part 2) ~ Recycle Walking

Another popular way to find coupons, is by doing weekly recycle walks!

So many people throw out coupons, and money savers everyday. It's just going to go to waste anyways, so why not use it for them?

You must remember ; not all neighbors will be okay with you sorting through their recycling bins. Many people will actually come out of their houses and ask what you are doing. If you be polite and humorous, they may say go ahead. But they aren't always that kind!

When going recycle walking you should always bring the following ;

  • Gloves
  • Scissors
  • Plastic Bag
  • Flashlight
  • Cellphone
  • A Partner
It is important to bring the following along with you because you never know what you will have to do in order to get the coupon your looking for!

Before I end this post, I want you all to remember ; do not sort through their entire recycling box. Someone may have thrown out personal information! If they catch you they could call the police, etc...

Finding Coupons (Part 1) ~ Websites

There are many different places to find coupons. Newspapers, recycle bins, grocery stores, product packaging, etc. . .

But in this post today, I will be focusing on my favourite coupon websites!
